Asda Stores Ltd in Ipswich is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our Asda Opticians team. This full-time, permanent role offers a 40-hour week with daytime shifts.

You will perform eye examinations, contact lens checks, and extended service examinations, working alongside the Dispensing Optician Manager to train staff and uphold departmental standards. We support NHS extended services and offer CPD funding, guaranteed training time, and opportunities to supervise students or participate in

Qualificações

• Must be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Experience in eye examinations and contact lens services is desirable.
• Support training and CPD participation to enhance skills.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations.
• Work with the Dispensing Optician Manager to train and coach colleagues.
• Deliver NHS extended eye care services where contracted, and gain additional accreditations as needed (funded by Asda).
• Provide high quality patient care and maintain departmental standards.
• Participate in CPD programmes and opportunities for professional development.
