Job summary

Scrivens Opticians is seeking qualified and GOC-registered Optometrists to join our customer‑centric team. You will provide excellent clinical eye care, conduct 30‑minute test slots, and build lasting relationships with customers and branch colleagues.

Whether newly qualified or experienced, you will contribute to business growth, participate in local enhanced schemes, and engage in CPD to stay at the forefront of optical care.

Qualifications

• GOC registration and current optometry practice eligibility.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Commitment to CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations in 30-minute test slots.
• Diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions.
• Provide expert advice on spectacle and contact lens options.
• Build relationships with customers and branch teams.
• Collaborate with branch staff to drive business growth and service.
• Participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision where applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through ongoing CPD training.
