Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a qualified Optometrist. You will perform comprehensive eye examinations in 25-minute slots, diagnose and manage eye conditions, and advise on spectacles and contact lenses.

You will nurture relationships with customers and collaborate with branch teams to drive service excellence. We welcome both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists, offering flexible hours, CPD support, and a family-run culture that values people and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist.
• Confident in clinical skills and patient care.
• Able to work in a friendly, supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with 25-minute test slots.
• Diagnose and manage eye health conditions.
• Advise on spectacle and contact lens options.
• Build strong relationships with customers and branch teams.
• Collaborate with branch to drive business growth and service delivery.
• Participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision where applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through CPD training.
