Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking qualified Optometrists to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly, community-focused setting. You will conduct 30-minute eye examinations, advise on spectacles and contact lenses, and work with our branch teams to support business growth.

Whether newly qualified or experienced, you will engage in ongoing CPD training and be part of a supportive, family-run company that values people and professionalism.

Qualifications

• GOC-registered optometrist with current registration.
• Ability to provide excellent clinical eye care.
• Willingness to participate in CPD and professional development.
• Flexible to full-time or part-time roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with 30-minute test slots.
• Use clinical judgement to diagnose and manage eye health conditions.
• Provide expert advice on spectacle and contact lens options.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and branch teams.
• Collaborate with branch team for business growth and service delivery.
• Participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision when applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through CPD training.
