Job summary

Asda Opticians in Ipswich is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our store team. You will perform eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations, working alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to maintain departmental standards and deliver high-quality patient care.

We support NHS extended service contracts, offer CPD opportunities, funded accreditations, and flexible development programmes.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Evidence of Right To Work in the UK.
• NHS performer list evidence, WECS/WGOS as applicable.
• 2 clinical references for compliance.
• On track to meet CPD points.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations.
• Support Dispensing Optician Manager with training and coaching.
• Maintain departmental standards and deliver high quality patient care.
