Prospect Health is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join a well-established optical team in the St Austell area. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, strong professional development, and a comprehensive benefits package focused on high-quality patient care.

You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, support contact lens services, and deliver extended eye care services while collaborating with the Dispensing Optician Manager and wider team.

Qualifications

• Full GOC registration and NHS performer registration in your area team.
• MECs or WECs accreditation, or willingness to achieve within 12 months (funded).
• Commitment to CPD requirements and high professional standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with high patient care standards.
• Support contact lens services as part of the optical team.
• Deliver extended eye care services and develop patient services.
• Collaborate with the Dispensing Optician Manager and wider team.
• Coach and support colleagues while maintaining clinical and operational standards.
• Contribute to development of new services and improvements in patient care.
