Job summary

Prospect Health in Bournemouth is seeking a qualified Optometrist for a full-time role (40 hours per week). You will deliver high-quality eye care, including comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens assessments, within a supportive optical team.

The position offers excellent earning potential (£49,400-£62,900 depending on experience), structured development, and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities to gain additional accreditations and contribute to patient services.

Qualifications

• GOC registration and NHS performer registration required.
• MECs or WECs accreditation, or willingness to achieve within 12 months (fully funded).
• Evidence of Right to Work in the UK and NHS performer-list registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens examinations.
• Deliver extended eye care services and monitor patients.
• Maintain high clinical and departmental standards and support training of colleagues.
• Collaborate with the Dispensing Optician Manager and wider optical team to develop patient services.
