Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Mobile Optometrist based from Boots Opticians Swansea Carmarthen Road, you'll also be supporting surrounding practices such as Swansea Quadrant, Neath and Port Talbot.

The role is advertised as full-time, however we understand flexibility is really important therefore we will consider both full time and part time hours.

Our Swansea Carmarthen Road practice is freestanding double testing store with HearingCare and equipped with Phoropters and OCT.

About the role

As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You’ll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.

  1. Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
  2. Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice – working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  3. Building longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community.

What you’ll need to have

  • Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist
  • Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
  • Passion for patient care
