A very exciting opportunity has become available for an Optometrist on a full or part-time (4-days), permanent basis with a well-established high-end independent based in the South of England. They are looking to recruit within their beautiful Alresford practice, set in a stunning Grade II listed building in the heart of this vibrant market town!
This independent high street opticians, who have built a fantastic reputation for their clinical excellence and personalised care, are looking to add to their team by recruiting an Optometrist to work a minimum of 4 days per week, including alternate Saturdays. NO SUNDAYS OR BANK HOLIDAYS.
An enthusiastic and committed individual is required to join and work in their Alresford practice, where you’ll benefit from a single clinic room setup, supported by a knowledgeable and experienced DO Manager and a highly capable support team. This practice is all about team spirit, and you’ll also have access to a very active Optometrist WhatsApp group for instant support and clinical discussion with your peers.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Optometrist – we welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced professionals. What’s most important is your ability to provide exceptional patient care and your passion for delivering a personal, clinical experience that truly makes a difference.
Requirements of the Optometrist
Must be GOC registered
Open to newly qualified or experienced candidates
A friendly and personable demeanour with a strong work ethic
A customer-focused approach and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike
Compensation for the Optometrist
In return for your expertise and commitment, a highly competitive package is on offer:
Up to 70,000 basic salary (based on 40 hours FTE)
Ideally 4-5 days per week, with alternate Saturdays
Professional fees covered
33 days holiday including Bank Holidays (pro rata)
Sociable hours – no Sundays, Bank Holidays, or late nights
