Job description

The team is well experienced and has been established for many years, with an average tenure of 10-15 years. We have 4 qualified DOs, including the Practice Manager, 2 resident CLOs, and 2 resident Optoms. Recently, we underwent a refit, and customers are loving the modern and fresh look, which complements our in-store services. Dry eye management is increasingly prominent, with CLOs running two clinics per week. We also utilize Optomap and OCT to enhance the clinical experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to grow their career or expand their scope of practice. Bedford is an excellent place to do so!

• Leading clinics and providing specialist care and advice to all patients
• Testing eyes using the latest technology while maintaining excellent patient care
• Delivering enhanced services based on store needs
• Responding to emergency triages
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
• Providing clinical support to team members
• Advising patients using your clinical knowledge
• Staying updated with the latest clinical practices
• Working closely with senior stakeholders

What you’ll need to have

• GOC registration (or expecting to be registered within 6 months)
• Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
• A drive to deliver excellent patient care
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
