Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense company in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join their Operations team. This role involves working in a cleanroom environment to manufacture high value assemblies including radar and advanced targeting systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly and a good attitude towards learning. The position requires on-site presence with a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Monitor and adjust production processes for quality and productivity.
• Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products.
• Collect and transfer hazardous waste to collection areas.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cleanroom environment to manufacture high value assemblies.
• Interpret and adhere to manufacturing planning.
• Maintain effective communication with Project, Quality, and Engineering functions.

Skills

Experience in mechanical assembly of diverse assemblies

High level of dexterity

IPC 610/620 experience

JStd soldering & wiring experience

Experience working in clean rooms
