Job summary

Boots Opticians in the UK is hiring an Assistant Manager to lead a team and deliver an outstanding customer journey, partnering with the Store Manager to implement commercial plans and drive store growth.

You will be involved in customer service, store operations and clinical activities including patient pre-screening, dispensing, accuracy checks, and performance management. Training and leadership development are provided.

Qualifications

• GOC registered to practise in the UK.
• Experience working in a customer facing role.
• Desire to learn and develop.
• Experience leading or coaching a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your team to deliver an exemplary customer journey.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and deliver the commercial plan for store growth.
• Involve in customer service, store operations and clinical activities such as patient pre-screening, dispensing and accuracy checks.
• Create and maintain rotas, conduct return to work reviews and manage performance.
• Participate in Boots’ Step into Optics training and leadership development programmes.
