Job summary

Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists in Stony Stratford are seeking an experienced Dispensing Optician to join our team, covering a 4-day week across rota weeks with 9am-5:30pm hours.

You will work with our Optometrists and practice teams to provide the best solutions for clients, including frame and lens recommendations from brands such as Jensen, Polo, Rayban, Oakley, Gucci, Tom Ford, Ted Baker, Carolina Herrera, Cocoa Mint and Rayban Sun.

Qualifications

• GOC registered with UK sight-care regulator.
• FBDO qualification or working towards it considered a plus.
• Previous experience as a Dispensing Optician.

Responsibilities

• Dispense eyewear and advise on lenses and frames in collaboration with Optometrists.
• Provide excellent client care and build relationships with clients.
• Assist with fittings, adjustments and maintaining accurate records.

We are looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician to join our fabulous practice in Stony Stratford for 4 days per week covering our rota week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday (9am - 5:30pm) and week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am - 5:30pm & Saturday 9am - 4pm with a competitive salary.

What will you be doing?

You will work closely with our Optometrists and wider practice teams to provide the very best solutions for our clients and their individual lifestyles.

It's about more than dispensing, fitting and adjusting spectacles. You will build genuine relationships with our clients, understand what matters to them and use your expertise to recommend the right frames, lenses and solutions. Working with frames including: Jensen, Polo, Rayban, Oakley, Gucci, Tom Ford, Ted Baker, Carolina Herrera, Cocoa Mint, Ralph Lauren, Wolf, Stepper, Landrover Sun, Cocoa Mint Sun, Oakley Sun and Rayban Sun.

You will have access to fantastic products and leading brands, alongside the latest developments in spectacle lenses and contact lenses.

Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
