Job summary

Asda is recruiting an Optical Manager to lead the optical department in Sefton. You will oversee a team of dispensing opticians and optical assistants, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
• On track to meet CPD points requirement.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced optics environment.
• Organised and able to manage time effectively.
• Ability to coach others and deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire optical operation.
• Lead a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants.
• Ensure compliance processes and procedures.
• Review sales forecasting and department targets.
• Handle customer queries; deliver patient care.
