Asda in Liverpool region is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the optical department and ensure high-quality patient care. You will oversee daily operations, coach Optometrists and Optical assistants, maintain compliance, and manage sales targets in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
• On track to meet CPD points requirement.
• Confident in coaching others.
• Able to deliver excellent customer and patient care.
• Driven to meet department targets.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced optics environment.
• Organised and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire operation of the optical department.
• Lead and coach the team of Optometrists and Optical assistants.
• Ensure compliance processes and procedures are followed.
• Review sales forecasting and department targets.
• Handle customer queries and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Manage clinic operations and shop floor processes.
• Develop staff performance and training.
