Job summary

Duncan & Todd Opticians in Stirling is seeking a Customer Care Assistant to join our busy branch on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves supporting patients and customers with frame selections, measurements and inquiries, while delivering outstanding care.

As a multi-skilled position, you will learn across tasks, uphold GDPR/NHS guidelines, and contribute to a smooth patient journey with a friendly, professional team in a local optical setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Experience in optical environment advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of GDPR guidelines and NHS processes is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and customers in the branch.
• Explain frame and lens options based on prescriptions and lifestyle.
• Take accurate measurements for lens selection.
• Assist with fittings, adjustments and repairs of spectacles.
• Handle customer queries via phone, email or in person.
• Maintain and update patient records and NHS paperwork.
