Job summary

Boots Opticians in the UK is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our in-store team. You will be the first and last point of contact for customers, working on the shop floor and reporting to the store manager to help customers find the right eyewear solution.

You will participate in our training programme and gain hands-on experience in dispensing, pre-screening activities, eye-tests support, and essential administrative duties, all while maintaining high shop standards.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses.
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
