Job summary

Zest Optical are worked with a well-established independent Opticians based in North West London to recruit a full-time Optical Assistant. You will support patients with frame and lens choices, handle adjustments, and assist with appointments in a customer-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have prior optical experience and excellent communication skills, with a friendly and empathetic manner. Working hours are 9:00am-5:30pm, Saturdays until 4:00pm, with a collaborative team and ongoing

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience essential.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Confident supporting patients with frame and lens choices.
• Friendly, empathetic and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Spend quality time with patients, supporting them throughout their visit
• Assist with frame selection and advise on suitable lens options within your experience
• Access to high-quality lenses and a wide range of eyewear
• Support reception, appointment booking, collections and adjustments
• Optix practice management system
• Opportunity to contribute to frame buying and the product offering
• Continuous in-house and external training opportunities

• Work closely with the practice Directors and a team of 4-5 professionals
• Full-time position, including Saturdays
• Working hours: 9:00am-5:30pm, with a 4:00pm finish on Saturdays
