Job summary

ASDA Opticians in the UK is seeking a friendly, organised Optical Assistant to join our 24/7 store team. You’ll prepare patients for eye examinations, explain the test steps, perform pre-screening, and book appointments.

You’ll dispense spectacles and contact lenses, handle repairs and adjustments, and ensure stock is received from suppliers. Training is provided with opportunities to progress through our Optical Apprenticeship routes.

Qualifications

• Friendly, highly organised and able to work in a busy team.
• Good computer skills with attention to detail and numeracy.
• Strong communication with customers and problem-solving ability.
• Passionate about helping people and delivering great healthcare experience.
