Job summary

Specsavers Burnham-on-Sea is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our friendly team. You'll engage customers, support dispensing and ensure a welcoming store environment.

You should have optical experience and strong communication skills; full-time 40 hours or part-time 3 days; from £12.71/hour with progression opportunities. The store offers training and a supportive team in a busy High Street location.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience in roles such as Optical Advisor, Contact Lens Assistant, Imaging Assistant or Dispensing Assistant.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confident in using IT systems and store software.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide a friendly store experience.
• Support dispensing and optical processes as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, professional atmosphere in-store.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for Optics, our products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.
