Job summary

Specsavers Hove is offering an apprenticeship to become an Optical Assistant. You will train on the job for 15–18 months in a paid role, supported by a friendly, experienced team in a busy community store.

You’ll develop listening and communication skills while helping customers with eye care, testing bookings, and product guidance in a welcoming environment. The scheme includes benefits and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at grades A–C (or equivalent).
• Right to work in the UK with EU residence of at least 3 years.
• Not currently enrolled in another government-funded course.

Your on-the-job training will sit alongside structured learning and at the end of the 15-18 months as an apprentice, you’ll be a fully-fledged Optical Assistant.
