Job summary

Specsavers in St Albans/Harpenden is seeking an Optical Assistant to join a friendly team. You’ll use your customer service strengths and optical experience to assist customers and support dispensing tasks.

The role offers full-time hours (up to 40 per week) with weekend work, plus a pension, discounts, and wellbeing benefits through Specsavers perks and support services.

Qualifications

• Proven optical experience as Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service environment is desirable.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology would set you apart.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding store environment for customers and team.
• Provide excellent customer service and product guidance in optics.
• Support daily store operations and maintain standards across the shop floor.

Optical Assistant - St Albans / Harpenden
