Job summary

Specsavers in Billericay is seeking an Optical Assistant to be the friendly face in our store, delivering outstanding customer service and supporting dispensing tasks for eyewear and audiology products.

The role offers full-time (up to 40 hours, weekend work possible) or part-time options, with pensions auto-enrolled and access to Specsavers Perks and WeCare support. Additional benefits include Headspace, eyecare discounts, and a paid birthday day off.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face in the store and welcome customers.
• Assist customers with eyewear selection and dispensing.
• Support the team with day-to-day in-store operations and service excellence.
