Optical Assistant – Liverpool | No Sundays

We’re currently supporting a growing independent optical practice in Liverpool. This high street-based role offers a friendly team environment, excellent development opportunities, and a genuine chance to grow within the business.

• Salary: £23,868 per year (£12.24/hr) – negotiable at interview based on experience
• Hours: 09:30 – 17:30 | 30 min lunch
• Days: 5 days a week, alternate Saturdays, closed Sundays
• Location: Liverpool high street – easy free parking nearby
• Development: Opportunities to progress to Dispensing Optician or managerial roles

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting the Optometrist and Dispensing Optician in two test rooms
• Dispensing and fitting spectacles
• Providing excellent patient care in a friendly, professional manner
• Supporting day-to-day practice operations
• Working as part of a supportive team – usually 3 staff on test days, helping deliver a high standard of patient care
