Job summary

Zest Optical in Leicester is seeking a Part-Time Optical Assistant to join two independent practices a few miles apart. You will work 2 days per week, with Tuesday fixed and one additional midweek day, 9:00am–5:30pm, across both sites, delivering friendly, patient-focused eye care.

Ideal candidates have Optical Assistant experience, strong dispensing skills, and a passion for community-oriented service while supporting the team and maintaining eyewear presentation.

Responsibilities

• Helping maintain the presentation of a carefully selected range of designer and everyday eyewear.

£12.71/hr | 2 Days Per Week | Tuesday + 1 Flexible Midweek Day | 9am-5.30pm

Zest Optical are working alongside a growing independent Opticians in Leicester to recruit a Part-Time Optical Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, community-focused team, working across two practices just four miles apart, both committed to providing personalised, high-quality eye care.

This role is for 2 days per week, with Tuesday being a fixed working day and one additional midweek day to be agreed. There will also be the opportunity to pick up additional holiday cover if desired.
