Job summary

JCB Cab Systems is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations, owning SQDCP performance and ensuring targets are achieved while fostering a high-performing team.

You will collaborate across Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance and senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and sustainable operational performance, delivering measurable results and people development.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of delivering Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets.
• Experience leading across Production, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction across all operational departments.
• Drive the achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People targets (SQDCP).
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support business objectives and future growth.
• Lead, coach and develop Production Managers, Group Leaders and teams across Production, Maintenance and Facilities.
• Ensure resources and capacity are effectively planned to meet operational requirements.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and overall operational performance.
• Take ownership of continuous improvement programmes and embed a culture of operational excellence.
• Manage operational budgets and ensure effective cost control across the business.
• Monitor performance through regular reporting, governance processes and operational reviews.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Quality teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Lead change initiatives and support development of a high-performance culture.
• Champion health, safety and quality standards across the operation.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and delivery.
