Dudley Council is recruiting an Operations Manager for Acquisitions, Disposals & New Developments within the Housing & Assets group. The role leads a service covering property acquisitions, disposals (including leases) and new-build development activities, with option modelling, feasibility studies and Building Control oversight.

The posts are senior, require flex‑hours due to statutory responsibilities, and report to the Associate Director Acquisitions, Compliance & Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Senior operational service leadership role in housing/property services.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours.
• Experience with acquisitions, disposals and new developments.
• Ability to provide oversight across multiple service areas.

Responsabilités

• Lead the service responsible for property acquisitions.
• Oversee disposals, including leases.
• Direct new-build construction, commissioning and handover.
• Conduct option modelling and feasibility studies.
• Oversee Building Control.
