Job summary

3t | Training Services (UK) in Aberdeen seeks a permanent Skills / Lifting Instructor to deliver 3t’s approved suite of lifting courses at training centres, ensuring consistency with 3t standards and client requirements.

The role requires delivering courses, supporting customers, and participating in CPD events while adhering to HSE policies and 3t procedures. Strong coaching, communication, and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Industry recognised Assessor qualification (SQA/OPITO) or equivalent.
• Industry recognised Instructor/Teaching Qualification.
• OPITO Rigger/Banksman qualifications (competence assessment or reassessment).
• Offshore Crane Operator Certification.
• Delivery of OPITO/Rigger/Banksman courses and related HSE training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements.
• Support customers during course delivery as appropriate.
• Participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as required.
• Provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Apply 3t and Clients' HSE Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all times.
