Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct perioperative care for adult patients at Key-Whitman Eye Center: KW Heritage Eye ASC. The role involves monitoring pre-/post-operative patients, communicating with surgical staff, and ensuring safety and documentation standards are met.

The position requires 1 year of perioperative experience, an active RN license, and ACLS (to be obtained within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Maintain current State RN licensure.
• Requires a minimum of one year of Perioperative experience.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment and maintenance of ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adult patients in the perioperative setting.
• Monitor patient status in pre-op and post-op environments.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient conditions.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Maintain regulatory requirements and nursing policies.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care and education.
