Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for perioperative and operating room care. The RN is accountable to provide professional nursing care and to delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs as per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the Medical Unit 2. The role requires BSN consideration with five years of employment and an Ohio RN license, with a Day shift and 24 scheduled hours per week.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• BSN preferred with 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health assessments.
• Plan and document nursing interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans of care in a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in process improvement to improve clinical quality and efficiency.
• Provide general nursing care in perioperative and operating room settings.
