Job summary

Zest Optical, partnering with a global ophthalmic lens manufacturer, invites an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the North of England. You will develop relationships with independent optical practices, drive sales, and provide product knowledge and training to opticians.

Ideal candidates have B2B optical sales experience, a Dispensing Optician qualification, and the ability to travel across the region. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• B2B optical sales experience preferred.
• Qualified Dispensing Optician with commercial focus.
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and independent optical market.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of independent optical accounts across the North of England.
• Identify, target and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Build long-term relationships with practice owners, Dispensing Opticians and decision-makers.
• Deliver product presentations, training and commercial support to maximise sales.
• Develop territory plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
