Job summary

PE Global is recruiting for an experienced Semi-Skilled Operator – Rubber Shop to join our manufacturing client based in Manchester. This role is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The pay rate is £14.78 per hour plus a 30% shift allowance.

Responsibilities include tube preparation duties, performing moulding tasks, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, and contributing to quality initiatives. Candidates should have previous manufacturing experience and strong teamwork skills.

PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Semi-Skilled Operator – Rubber Shop to join our manufacturing client based in Manchester. This role is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanency. The pay rate for this position is £14.78 per hour plus a 30% shift allowance.

Shift Pattern:

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out tube preparation duties including degreasing, blasting, and bond application
• Perform stator moulding duties within autoclave, REP, and transfer moulding sections
• Complete stator stamping, spraying, and dispatch activities
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the work area
• Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance
• Contribute to quality and safety improvement initiatives and meetings
• Carry out additional work-related tasks in line with business requirements
• Adhere to all company Quality and HSE policies and procedures
• Travel as required to support business needs

Requirements

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong teamwork skills with a reliable and proactive approach
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and develop technical skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
• Manual handling, slinging, and lifting experience

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working within a high-productivity rubber injection process environment
