Job summary

Pertemps Lincoln is seeking multiple production staff for a Gainsborough manufacturing site. As a Semi-Skilled Operative, you’ll help turn raw materials into finished products that meet our quality standards.

Two shift patterns are available (AM 06:00–14:30; PM 14:30–01:00). Roles involve working across production areas, maintaining housekeeping, and following H&S policies to keep everyone safe. Overtime rates apply on weekdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas.
• Generate and maintain all relevant documentation.
• Work professionally with all functional teams to minimise waiting times during production.
• Work to customer specifications.
• Adhere to Health & Safety (H&S) policies, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others.
• Identify and report risks, near misses, or unsafe conditions to maintain safety and environmental standards.

Pertemps are looking to hire multiple production staff for our customer in Gainsborough. Due to grow, our customer would like to add to their already successful manufacturing team. As a Semi‑Skilled Operative, you'll play a vital role in turning raw materials into finished products that meet the high‑quality standards our customers expect.

Shifts

There are 2 shifts you can choose from, you will NOT rotate.

• AM Shift - Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 14:30
• PM Shift - Monday to Thursday - 14:30 to 01:00

Pay

• AM Shift - £13.15ph. Overtime, £19.73ph (Mon to Sat) & £26.30ph (Sun)
• PM Shift - £15.00ph. Overtime, £19.73ph (Mon to Sat) & £26.30ph (Sun)

Job Overview

This is a varied role, where you'll gain hands‑on experience in multiple areas of production, including:

• Incoming Goods
• Laser Operations
• Machine Operations
• Stores
• Assembly and Packing
• Despatch
