Job summary

PE Global is recruiting for an experienced Semi-Skilled Operator – Rubber Shop to join our manufacturing client based in Manchester. This role is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The pay rate is £14.78 per hour plus a 30% shift allowance.

Responsibilities include tube preparation duties, performing moulding tasks, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, and contributing to quality initiatives. Candidates should have previous manufacturing experience and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and develop technical skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tube preparation duties including degreasing, blasting, and bond application.
• Perform stator moulding duties within autoclave, REP, and transfer moulding sections.
• Contribute to quality and safety improvement initiatives and meetings.
