Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting for Semi-Skilled Operatives to support multiple shutdowns across Hartlepool, Heysham and Torness in 2027. Expect 10.5-hour days, 12-on/2-off rotation, and security clearance requirements.

The role includes a lodge allowance and potential cross-site opportunities within a long-standing engineering staffing provider. EAR/SHIFTS: 1 Mar–4 Jun 2027 (Hartlepool); 10 May–27 Aug 2027 (Heysham); 16 Aug–12 Nov 2027 (Torness).

Shutdown Schedule

• Hartlepool: 1 March – 4 June 2027
• Heysham: 10 May – 27 August 2027
• Torness: 16 August – 12 November 2027

Working Arrangements & Rates

• 10.5 hours per day
• 12 days on / 2 days off
• NAECI rates apply – Grade 5 trades and Grade 3 semi-skilled operatives
• Lodge allowance payable

CTC security clearance will be required before starting. Don't worry if you don't already hold clearance, as we will put candidates through the process ahead of their start date.

With three shutdowns running across the year, there may be opportunities to move from one TAR to another and work across multiple sites.
