Job summary

NES Group Ltd is seeking Semi-Skilled Operatives for shutdown work across Hartlepool, Heysham and Torness in 2027. The role involves long shifts of 10.5 hours per day during outage windows.

Working patterns are 12 days on / 2 days off, with Lodge allowance payable and NAECI rates applying for Grade 5 trades and Grade 3 semi-skilled operatives. CT C security clearance will be required, and we will assist with the clearance process ahead of start.

• CTC security clearance will be required before starting. Don't worry if you don't already hold clearance, as we will put candidates through the process ahead of their start date.

Shutdown Schedule

• Hartlepool: 1 March - 4 June 2027
• Heysham: 10 May - 27 August 2027
• Torness: 16 August - 12 November 2027

Working Arrangements & Rates

• 10.5 hours per day
• 12 days on / 2 days off
• NAECI rates apply - Grade 5 trades and Grade 3 semi-skilled operatives
• Lodge allowance payable

With three shutdowns running across the year, there may be opportunities to move from one TAR to another and work across multiple sites.
