Job summary

VolkerHighways UK is seeking a skilled traffic management operative to support highway maintenance teams. You will follow supervisor instructions and ensure traffic control is installed, maintained and removed per Chapter 8 and scheme drawings.

The role requires CSCS and UK driving license, with NHSS 12D/M1-M6 qualifications essential and LNHSS 12A/B desirable. A safety-focused mindset and commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

Previous experience in traffic management operations.
Previous experience in highways maintenance.
Holder of valid CSCS card.
NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications essential.
LNHSS 12A/B desirable.
Full valid UK driving license holder.
First Aid at Work qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work to instruction from supervisors.
Ensure all traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings.
Demonstrate by example a Safety and Quality approach that is without compromise.

Our specialist in-house traffic management division provides expert advice and support across the industry, whilst assisting with our own, in-house contracts., The successful candidate will work to instruction from supervisors, ensuring all traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, whilst demonstrating by example a Safety and Quality approach that is without compromise.

Previous experience in traffic management operations
Previous experience in highways maintenance
Holder of valid CSCS card
Holder of NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications essential
