Job summary

McLaren Racing in the United Kingdom is seeking an proactive Indirect Procurement Operative to support PO creation, edge P2P cycle, supplier onboarding and RFx administration within a fast-paced team.

You will contribute to data analysis, stakeholder communications and cost-cap compliant documentation while building strong relationships across internal teams and our supply chain.

Job Description

The Indirect Procurement team manages the sourcing of goods and services that support all non-car-related functions at McLaren Racing. This includes areas such as Commercial, Business Performance, Marketing, Heritage, IT, and Facilities. The team plays a key role in ensuring strategic procurement decisions align with the new cost cap regulations introduced in Formula 1 in 2026.

Purpose of the Role

This role requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively under time constraints. It will be responsible for supporting PO creation, P2P cycle, supplier onboarding, RFx administrative support, and typical procurement operations that contribute to the success of McLaren Racing’s business functions. Our Operatives are expected to carry out complex tasks and activities which provide supporting services helping to facilitate the Indirect Procurement team members.
