Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking an Indirect Procurement Operative in Woking to support PO creation, P2P cycles, supplier onboarding, RFx administrative support and general procurement operations across non-car functions.

You will integrate into the team, take ownership of assigned tasks with guidance, contribute to sourcing activities, supplier communications and data analysis, and help ensure cost cap compliance while building strong internal relationships.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Indirect Procurement team manages the sourcing of goods and services that support all non-car-related functions at McLaren Racing. This includes areas such as Commercial, Business Performance, Marketing, Heritage, IT, and Facilities. The team plays a key role in ensuring strategic procurement decisions align with the new cost cap regulations introduced in Formula 1 in 2026.

Purpose of the Role

This role requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively under time constraints. It will be responsible for supporting PO creation, P2P cycle, supplier onboarding, RFx administrative support, and typical procurement operations that contribute to the success of McLaren Racing’s business functions. Our Operatives are expected to carry out complex tasks and activities which provide supporting services helping to facilitate the Indirect Procurement team members.
