Job summary

Howco Group in Stockport/Bredbury area seeks a Goods In Operative to ensure incoming materials are received, inspected and identified, and stored per group policies.

You will pick issued materials, kit parts, and maintain stock traceability using Efacs, with occasional driving when required. FLT is training-provided, and you will collaborate with others to meet production timelines.

Role Requirements

To ensure that all incoming material is received, inspected, identified and

located as per group policies

Duties and Responsibilities

Picking of Issued materials and to kit parts and stock into relevant departments

Maintain traceability of stock using Efacs as per our quality system

Stock Control

Occasional driving to transport goods as and when required

FLT required but not essential as training will be provided

Flexibility

Ability to work with others to communicate and adapt to changing requirements

Able to follow program timescale with reporting accuracy

Ability and willingness to work with others to provide a secure and safe working environment

Demonstrate willingness to assist other departments

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

Vital that the material being inputted into the system is correct and is fit for purpose

Material should be booked within the time limits allowed and correctly
