Purpose of the Role:

To participate in building and presenting the garage environment, support equipment, and individual car parts at and away from the McLaren Technology Centre. The role may involve unsociable hours, short-notice high load periods, extensive travel, and time away from home. Flexibility and security duties are also required.

Role Dimensions:

• Reporting to Freight Operations Team Leaders and Managers.
• Supporting Race Team, Events, and security.
• Working hours as required, including travel.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Perform practical hands-on duties requiring mechanical, electrical, or IT aptitude, with problem-solving skills.
• Maintain high attention to detail and communicate effectively.
• Experience with motorsport garage infrastructures or relevant skills from other industries.
• Follow instructions and absorb information efficiently.
• Fulfill security duties and protect company IP.
• Ensure freight documentation meets standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Deliver quality under tight deadlines with conflicting priorities.
• Experience in a highly technical environment.
• Contribute to component fault diagnosis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
