Job summary

Veolia Group in Padworth, near Reading, is hiring for a role focused on collecting waste from outside residential properties in West Berkshire. The role runs Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with early start 06:30, and includes overtime when needed.

You will work as part of a team, providing a high standard of service to residents, recording work on a mobile tablet, and following safety instructions to keep the environment safe.

Qualifications

• Previous manual handling experience in a similar operations role.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and be safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Collect waste from outside residential properties within West Berkshire.
• Load waste into refuse vehicle and tip at appropriate site.
• Deliver a high level of service through effective communication with residents.
• Record completed work and report issues using mobile devices.

What you'll be doing

• Working as part of a team to collect waste from outside residential properties within West Berkshire
• Manually pulling bins and loading them onto the refuse vehicle to tip the waste
• Using your communication skills to deliver a high standard of service to the residents
• Accurately recording work completed and reporting any collection issues onto mobile tablet devices provided
