Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Water Hygiene Operative to join the Water Management team across Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. Travel between sites is required, with Monday–Friday hours (07:30–16:30).

A Temp to Perm opportunity is offered, with a van and fuel card provided; the role involves water hygiene tasks and PPM support. Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence, have strong communication skills and attention to detail, and be capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperatures of hot and cold water systems.
• Take water samples following current guidance.
• Flus h little-used outlets as part of routine maintenance.
• Inspect, service and test TMVs.
• Clean and disinfect shower heads and hoses.
• Inspect cold water storage tanks.
• Complete site records and reports accurately.
• Report defects and non-conformances promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Water Hygiene Operative to join their expanding Water Management team, supporting a range of commercial and rail industry sites across Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing department delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and water hygiene services. Key Details

• Hours: Monday to Friday (07:30 to 16:30)
• Location: Northampton / Buckinghamshire with travel between sites
• Contract: Temp to Perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems
• Water sampling in accordance with current guidance
• Routine flushing of little-used outlets
• TMV inspection, servicing and testing
• Shower head and hose cleaning and disinfection
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Completing site records and reports accurately
• Reporting defects and non-conformances
• Maintaining excellent communication with clients and colleagues

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Hold a full UK Driving Licence
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be organised with strong attention to detail
• Be able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Be competent using mobile devices and electronic reporting systems
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Be able to provide relevant work references upon request
