What you’ll be doing

• Manually pick recyclate items from the moving conveyor belt
• Yard duties where required of moving returned bins, and sweeping
• Clean down at the end of the shift, leaving the picking cabin hazard free
• Follow Health and safety policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

Essential:

• Willingness to work in a physically demanding, repetitive role
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely
• Good attention to detail
• Commitment to health and safety and environmental standards
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to work outdoors or in varying conditions where required

Desirable:

• Previous experience in recycling, waste management, warehousing, production or general operative work
• Experience working around conveyors or industrial machinery
• Forklift, pallet-truck or banksman training
• Experience with yard duties
