The role: This is an opportunity not to be missed. You’ll join a team of operators at Arla Foods Lockerbie Dairy, working across our Anaerobic Digestion and effluent plant. You will provide technical and process skills within a multiskilled team, ensuring operational continuity and improvement. The AD Technician will champion safe working conditions and contribute to LEAN principles, food safety, and quality at the site.

How would you add value:

• Operate and monitor state-of-the-art processing equipment to produce gas for the grid and ensure compliance for effluent discharge, communicating effectively to report process and equipment status based on performance
• Collaborate with engineering and team members to reduce breakdowns and ensure plant availability for maintenance and projects
• Use specialist knowledge to analyze processes and suggest optimizations and improvements
• Support KPI delivery to achieve departmental and site goals
• Promote a safe culture by reporting near misses, risks, environmental and behavioral safety observations, and ensure accurate completion of paperwork
• Apply Lean principles to continually improve operational performance and foster a continuous improvement mindset
