BBC in Salford is seeking a robust Broadcast Equipment Coordinator within Production Services. You will arrange hire and maintenance of self-operating broadcast gear, from cameras to lighting and sound, to support productions across the BBC.
You will monitor assets using a bespoke system and ensure equipment is tested and ready for use. Working with a small but vital team, you’ll travel occasionally and collaborate to deliver reliable technical support, advising productions remotely and on-site,

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £25,100 - £33,900 depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Production Services is a small team that makes a big impact within the BBC. We support teams across the UK by coordinating the supply and maintenance of the broadcast equipment needed by productions to capture stories, create content and connect with our audiences. Through the preparation, hire and testing of all the broadcast equipment required by productions, we provide an essential and varied service, supporting large productions right through to individual creators.
