Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an Operations Talent Training Leader to partner with country HR and the Plant Manager in Swindon, UK. You will identify, develop, and retain talent, design training programs, and implement talent management strategies to support operational goals.

You will drive engagement, apply Six Sigma principles to training processes, and ensure compliance with EH&S requirements while coordinating both local and external training across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years' experience in talent management, training, or organizational development in operations/manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of talent assessment, performance management, and employee development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage employees at all levels.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with country HR to understand business cycles and talent needs.
• Develop people strategies to build workforce capability and flexibility.
• Drive employee engagement and culture in AD&M BU and TE.
• Apply Six Sigma principles to improve training processes and services.
• Identify training needs aligned to site workforce plans and onboarding.
• Design and develop training programs from shop floor to management.
• Ensure training is documented, up-to-date, and refreshed.
• Drive safety culture through safety training across the plant.
• Coordinate local and external training and manage training records.
• Track training metrics to measure effectiveness.
