Job summary

Altum Consulting is partnering with an international climate-focused NGO to recruit an Operations & Systems Manager. The role leads the rollout of core platforms, improves workflows and connects systems to support program delivery.

You will work hands-on in a start-up environment, shaping processes, balancing projects with day-to-day tasks, and coordinating internal teams with external IT suppliers. The ideal candidate has experience taking systems from pilot to rollout, and can translate user

Qualifications

Experience taking systems from pilot stage through rollout.
Experience building/improving systems and processes in start-up/NGO environments.

Responsibilities

Lead configuration, testing and rollout of operational systems including project management, CRM, finance and grants platforms.
Map processes and data flows, identify connections and where automation reduces manual work.
Develop a practical improvement plan prioritising changes by needs, resources and risk.
Improve data quality, reporting and knowledge management for reliable information.
Provide training and day-to-day troubleshooting support for colleagues.
Manage relationships with external IT providers and suppliers, setting expectations and delivery.
Maintain system access controls and documentation.
Handle wider operational queries and supplier management as needed.
