Job summary

Pertemps Heathrow is seeking an Operations Supervisor (Nights) to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation at Colnbrook. You will oversee daily activities, manage a night team and ensure on-time shipments while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include coaching staff, maintaining records, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer requirements. A Full UK driving licence and warehouse leadership experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse and fulfilment activities.
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately and within customer SLAs.
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and handovers.
• Monitor attendance, performance and timekeeping.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to maximise performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee development.
• Liaise with internal departments and operational partners.
• Support investigation and resolution of customer queries.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with customs, security, GDPR and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across the operation.
• Conduct workplace inspections and investigate incidents where required.
• Contribute to ongoing development of operational standards.

Hours:Saturday - Wednesday 9pm-6am

Essential to the role

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous warehouse experience, specifically experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role within logistics, warehousing or distribution.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good computer literacy, including email communication.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive and flexible approach to work.

Desirable

• Logistics and freight experience.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
• Dangerous Goods awareness.

• Forklift licence.
