Job description

DP World is seeking multiple Operations Supervisors to join our team in Minworth. The Operations Supervisor will oversee business operations, delegate tasks to team members, and resolve issues during their shift.

Note: We have roles available for both AM and PM shifts. If selected after CV screening, your preferred shift will be confirmed by the recruiter.

Shift timings:

• AM Shift: Mon - Fri, 7am - 3pm
• PM Shift: Mon - Fri, 3pm - 11pm

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage health, safety, and environmental issues during the shift, including incident investigations and ensuring compliance with H&S procedures.
2. Identify and implement corrective actions to meet departmental KPIs and improve operational performance.
3. Represent the department in meetings, communicate shift issues, and participate in team briefs and reviews.
4. Manage manpower effectively, support customer delivery, and promote Lean Manufacturing and CI activities.
5. Maintain accurate Standard Work documentation, audit employees, and coach to ensure process compliance.
6. Identify training needs, facilitate training, and ensure documentation is complete.
7. Drive quality objectives, conduct PPS activities, and analyze root causes of issues like scrap or stock loss.
8. Assist with engineering changes, production trials, and model changes.
9. Implement contingency plans, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as necessary.
10. Review performance data, take corrective actions, and escalate when needed.
11. Supervise Warehouse Managers and enforce company standards.

Qualifications:

• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership skills, integrity, and resolve.
• Understanding of business planning and data analysis.
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and anticipate issues.
